EXHIBITION OUTLINE:

We are pleased to announce our 2026 small works juried exhibition, The Big Tiny Show.

The show will include small, 12″ x 12″ x 12” or smaller, 2D and 3D works, from established and emerging artists, in a variety of subject matter, media, and expression. All Minnesota artists aged 18+ at any stage of their career are encouraged to apply.

GALLERY EXHIBITION:

Saturday, October 3, and run through November 7, 2026. 

​

Kolman & Reeb Gallery will host an artist reception:

Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

All artists in the show are encouraged to attend the reception.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Submit up to 3 works no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12.” 

• All submitted works must be for sale.

• 2D and 3D, free-standing and wall-mounted works, can be submitted.

• All subject matter is welcome.

• All media welcome.

• Framed work, dimensions (artwork plus frame) cannot be more than 12” x 12” x 12.”

• All works must be suitably framed or have finished sides (i.e., canvases and panels must be framed or have painted sides).

• All wall-mounted pieces must be wired and ready to hang.

 

TO APPLY

• Submit up to 3 works (max file size each 1 MB at 300 dpi)

• Provide a nonrefundable $35 application fee by September 11, 2026.

• Complete the online submission form below.

SALES:

• All accepted works shall be for sale through the gallery and will be subject to applicable sales tax.

• The gallery will take a 50% commission on all sold works.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Deadline to apply: Friday, September 11 at 5:00 p.m. CST
Notification of decision: on or about September 16, 2026

Delivery of artwork:

In-person: Saturday, September 19 or 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Shipped to gallery: Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Artist reception: Saturday, October 3, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Exhibit dates: October 3 – November 7, 2026.

Artwork pick-up dates:

Monday, November 9, at 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or
Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The gallery is not responsible for works not picked up by November 10.

​Non-sold artworks will be returned the week of November 9, 2026, via artist-provided pre-paid Return Label. Gallery will not pay for return shipping.

DIGITAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• JPEG or PNG image formats only. 

• Artworks MUST be labeled as: Name of Artwork_Your First Name_Your Last Name (e.g., My Dog_Anita_Kolman).

• Max digital file size 300 dpi (5 MB)

• Largest dimension set at 7 inches (2100 pixels)
